Yapa derives its philosophy from the Quechua word translated as “a little something extra” (from vendor/host to customer/guest). A spirit and culture of gratitude and generosity are at the heart of this upcoming bar and restaurant, located in downtown Los Angeles’ Little Tokyo, from hospitality veteran Josh Goldman and chef Richie Lopez. The concept took root by their inspiration of Japanese influence in Peru, aka Peruvian Nikkei, which will be storied throughout the food menu.
